Seems to have been resewn onto cloth tape, and rebacked effectively but crudely at the head and tail with library tape. Corners bumped and rubbed, cloth boards still show original art and text, as the 'pyroxylin-impregnated 56-square cloth has been lacquer-finished.' One les than 1-inch pen mark on p. 6. 'Last Friday noon at Half-Past Eight / While putting up my hair, / I thought I saw an Elephany / Come walking up the Stair, / But when I turned around again, / He really wasn't there.'
